The Student Employment Center
is a free resource for Western Washington University students seeking part-time employment to help pay the high costs of college. We strive to provide students with the opportunity to gain experience, explore career options, and to fund their education.
Students must report the total of all work study and non-work study earnings on the FAFSA.
Work study earnings have the added benefit of being excluded from the federal Expected Family Contribution calculation.
Watch this video for help on correctly reporting your work study earnings on the FAFSA.
The Student Employment Center posts part time on- and off-campus positions on this website. You can browse these positions without creating a student profile. WWU students who wish to
create a student profile can then be placed on the Child Care, Day Labor and/or Tutoring List. A student with a profile may also set up keywords for a personalized RSS Feed of job postings. For more information, please visit the student section of the website
Important Notice: To work at Western Washington University as a student employee, students must have the I-9 form completed in human resources before they begin their first day of work. Please plan to bring acceptable forms of employment eligibility verification found on Department of Homeland Security's website, http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-9.pdf, with you when you come to campus.
